Assisted Stretching

What is Assisted Stretching? Assisted stretching is a form of passive stretching, which uses an outside force to stretch your muscles.

What is PNF Stretching? Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a form of assisted stretching. It combines passive stretching with muscle contraction.

How it works

Stretch therapy encompasses a range of techniques designed to treat issues related to tight muscles and restricted joints.  It is beneficial for all individuals of all age and fitness levels focusing on improving range of movement and overall movement efficiency.

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation involves a series of techniques using the body's neuromuscular responses to improve flexibility and strength, the core principle of PNF is to engage the muscle being stretched through contraction which helps to relax the muscle and allow for a deeper stretch.
